Biography

Last season Ford spent the majority of his time (41 0f 42 games)with the ECHL’s Columbia Inferno. The Calgary, AB native also gained a start with the AHL’s Toronto Marlies. With the Inferno he played in 41 games and earned a 21-14-5 record with a 3.01 and .906 save percentage. During the 2008 Kelly Cup Playoffs he competed in all 13 games for Columbia and compiled an 8-4-1 record with 2.21 goals against average and a .936 save percentage. He backstopped the team to a series upset victory over the TExas Wildcatters. Over his four-year pro career he has spent time in both the ECHL and the AHL. Prior to life as a pro he spent four season in the WHL with three different teams (Vancouver, Swift Current and Prince George). Drafted in the 3rd round, 74th overall by the Toronto Maple Leafs during the 2002 NHL Entry Draft.
