Zanoski played four seasons in the OHL and two at Dalhousie University before making his pro debut with the Stockton Thunder in 2007. He appeared in 31 games with the Gladiators last season. His favorite hockey memory was winning the gold medal while playing for team Canada in the 2007 World University Games in Torino, Italy. Some of Zanoski’s former teammates that are now in the NHL include Patrick O’Sullivan, Dan Carcillo and Kyle Quincey. He models his game after Darcey Tucker and Sean Avery and says the best thing about being a hockey player is doing something he loves for a living. His first job was in construction, and his hobbies include poker and golf. His favorite hockey team is the Toronto Maple Leafs, and he enjoys watching Entourage on HBO. In the summers, Zanoski spends time with his family, teaches hockey schools, and trains. People always say that he “doesn’t not have an indoor voice.”
