Biography
With Nailers: 2008-09: Goebel was voted the CCM Tacks ECHL Player of the Month for October with a league-leading 15 points (7G, 8A). … He was named PaySource USA Plus Performer of the Month for October with league-leading +10 rating and was named In Glas Co-ECHL Player of the Week Oct. 20-26. … The Parma, Ohio, native tallied his first professional hat trick against Trenton on Oct. 26 … Goebel was called up to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Dec. 9, where he scored eight points (4G, 4A) in 14 games. … He was returned to the Nailers on Jan. 23. 2007-08: Goebel broke into professional hockey with the AHL’s Rochester Americans. … In five games with the Americans he scored tallied five points (2G, 3A). Prior to Nailers: Played two seasons at Niagara University (NCAA) and two seasons at Robert Morris University (NCAA). … Recorded a personal college best 36 points (11G, 25A) in 2006-07 with Robert Morris University.
