Ellis is a three-year pro, who joins the K-Wings after splitting last season with the Victoria Salmon Kings (ECHL) and the Manitoba Moose (AHL). Ellis is a former 6th round (189th overall) selection in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft of the Vancouver Canucks. A well decorated netminder, Ellis has earned all-star and first all-star team notoriety in the ECHL and was a member of Team Canada’s under 18 Team.
